At Tunstall Nursery School we give children the opportunity to eat a piece of fruit, raw vegetable or a carbohydrate, for example bread or crackers during the session time.

To enable us to offer the children a healthy snack we ask for a voluntary contribution of either a one off payment of £38 for the school year (this works out to £1 a week), or a payment of £13 each term per family.  This will contribute towards the cost of snack time and will enable us to provide the children with a snack throughout the year.

If we do not receive enough contributions we may be unable to continue snack time.
